Lovebug

Jay Sharp While this record may be too sad for some, I find it cathartic and beautiful. It often brings a tear to my eye when I listen to it. True, it's mood music through and through with songs that deal with isolation and longing but the haunting melodies and sparse arrangements are augmented by the introspective lyrics which are nothing short of a exacting process of methodical restraint. Favorite track: My Darling.
