I wrote "There Goes" in April 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I began playing livestreams, and at the end of each performance, I would close with "We'll Meet Again" which was made famous by Vera Lynn. At that time, the global death toll was at 200,000. When I performed this song at a live stream in October 2020, the US death toll alone reached 200,000. When I recorded it in March 2021, the US death toll surpassed 500,000. Those who perished never got to see better days to come. I dedicate this song to them, to everyone in isolation, to the essential workers, and to anyone who lost their jobs this past year.

"Shivers" was written by Colin Fitzgerald of Eulogy Club. I recorded keys and vocals on the original track in 2013, which you can listen to here: eulogyclub.bandcamp.com/track/shivers
